What packages do you offer?

We offer two packages -

1. Single camera subscription - this includes a single camera, a web address, username and password.
   Choose this package if you are adding more cameras to an existing package or you wish to connect the camera directly to an internet line.
   
   
2. Router subscription - this includes 1 RA-CCTV camera and 1 router with 5 camera ports and comes setup with a web address, user name and password. Choose this package if you wish to have multiple cameras or want to share an internet connection between the cameras and existing devices.
   
   Note - Please let us know the type of internet connection you wish to use so that we can supply you with the appropriate router

How do I install the camera ?

The camera will be installed by our technicians and programmed with a web address specific to each user.

How do I view the camera ?

If you only have one camera and wish to connect it directly to the internet then the web address supplied will directly access your camera. All you need to do is type in the web address into your web browser and enter your username and password (which we will provide) and you will see the camera feed.

If you have multiple cameras or wish to connect other computers to the same internet connection, we can provide you with a router for a small extra fee. This will be pre-programmed to accept multiple cameras. To view each camera type in the web address provided as before followed by the camera number. eg: http://name.cctv.co.uk:1001 to see camera 1. Change the number 1001 to 1002 and so on to view the other cameras. Type in your username and password when prompted to do so.

How many cameras can I connect?

Although you can connect as many cameras as the router can support, we recommend that you don't connect more than 5 cameras per internet line as video feeds use a lot of bandwidth. If you wish to put more than 5 cameras at a locations, it is better that you split your location into zones and use a router for each zone. We will provide you with a webaddress for each zone. You can use the same user name and password for all cameras.

What type of internet connection do I need for this to work ?

At the moment our packages only support wired broadband internet. In the near future we hope to have the camera compatible with wifi.
